Message from the President

In June of 1995, a handful of visionaries broke off from a large national networking organization to form the Greater Orlando Business Network. It is amazing to me that two of the original six founders are still active members. Since its modest beginning, GOBN has been through many developmental changes and has evolved into what is considered the preeminent professional business networking organization in Central Florida with over 30 members. I am honored to serve as president and participate in the development of such a tremendous organization.

Our mission is very simple: help our members grow their businesses through the generation of qualified referrals, building relationships both inside the membership and outside, and helping our members grow personally by working within the organization to make the entire group succeed. We are all individuals but the whole is much greater than the sum of our parts. Our uniqueness lies in our diversity but our strength lies in our commitment to one another.

Some of my closest friends are in GOBN. Each of our members is an individual I am proud to be associated with and gladly refer business to because I know they respect the referral and will never let me or my referral down. It is not unusual to hear our members make comments like “my income increased $40,000 last year as a result of GOBN,” or “my business has doubled since becoming a member.”
